Between Longyearbyen and Tromsø aboard Silver Endeavour: five days in the fjords and ice of Svalbard, the bird cliffs of Bear Island, and the North Cape at the top of Norway. Four departures in 2027 and two in 2028, in both directions. From A$23,850 per person, planned with you by Arctic Cruise.

9 nights, Longyearbyen to Tromsø or the reverse

The high Arctic, then the Barents Sea, then Norway

Nine nights that begin in the ice and end on the mainland. From Longyearbyen, Silver Endeavour spends five days in Svalbard’s northern region, the fjords and glacier fronts of the north-west and the edge of the sea ice, then sails south across the Barents Sea to Bear Island, the lonely bird cliff halfway to Norway, and on to Skarsvåg and the North Cape before Tromsø.

Sailed northbound from Tromsø, the same voyage builds the other way: Norway first, the cape, the island, and the ice at the end. Both directions carry the Silversea inclusions, a butler in every suite, five restaurants and an expedition team that goes out twice a day.

Signature moments

Five moments that make the voyage

The ice decides the order in Svalbard. The rest of the route is fixed by the sea.

Day by day

Nine nights, in outline

The southbound outline, from Silversea’s published itinerary for 1 July 2027. The northbound departures sail it in reverse. The ice and the weather decide the days in Svalbard; the full programme comes with the proposal we write for you.

Embark in Longyearbyen and sail in the evening down Isfjorden. The first briefing, the parkas and dinner.
