Expedition partners
The ship is the voyage
In the Arctic the ship decides everything: how far into the ice you go, how fast the whole ship gets ashore, and how the days feel between landings. We chose our partners ship by ship and sailed each one before we sold it. Here is who we work with, and what each line is for.
Swan Hellenic
Swan Hellenic ran the first expert-led voyage in 1954 and sails the Arctic today with two new ice-class ships. We have sailed both, we know the staterooms deck by deck, and we hold offers on many departures that are only available by talking to us.
Ponant
Ponant has sailed the polar regions from Marseille since 1988 and built the only passenger ship that reaches the North Pole. We have sailed her and her three Arctic sisters, we know the suites deck by deck, and we hold offers on many departures that are only available by talking to us.
Quark Expeditions
Quark Expeditions has sailed nothing but the polar regions since 1991, and took the first paying guests to the North Pole the same year. We have sailed both of its Arctic ships, we know the cabins deck by deck, and we hold offers on many departures that are only available by talking to us.
Aurora Expeditions
Aurora Expeditions was founded in Sydney in 1991 by the mountaineer Greg Mortimer and still sails the way he did, small groups ashore and as much time off the ship as the ice allows. We have sailed its ships, we know the cabins deck by deck, and we hold offers on many departures that are only available by talking to us.
Silversea
All-suite ships with a butler for every guest, Polar Class 6 for Svalbard and the fjords of East Greenland, and the classic Silversea for the west coast. The most inclusive fare in the Arctic, and the one we recommend to guests who want the expedition without giving up the ship.
