10 nights, Reykjavik to Reykjavik

The fjords of the national park, in the first dark of the year

Ten nights across the Denmark Strait and back, with the whole of the time between given to the east coast of Greenland. Scoresby Sund, the largest fjord system on earth, and Ittoqqortoormiit at its mouth. Then north into the Northeast Greenland National Park, the largest on earth, for King Oscar Fjord and Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord, where the mountains are striped red and the musk oxen graze on the shore.

The 2027 voyage sails at the end of August, which matters: the nights have returned, and a September anchorage in Scoresby Sund is our first choice in the Arctic for the northern lights. Silver Endeavour gives it a Polar Class 6 hull and a butler in every suite.

Signature moments

Five moments that make the voyage

The ice and the weather decide the order of the fjords. These are the moments the voyage is built around.

The largest fjord system on earth

Icebergs the size of the ship in Rødefjord, basalt cliffs at Vikingebugt, the tundra of the inner fjords, and the quiet of a place with one town in a thousand kilometres.
